Beloved Childrens Book Series "Little Vampie Out Now on the App Store

Halloween is getting close and with it come the usual paraphernalia of the season. This years largest Book Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, brought some extra vampire gadgets for kids who love books and especially digital books. One of Germanys largest publishers, the Deutsche Taschenbuch Verlag, presents its beloved childrens book series Little Vampie as interactive app for the Apple iPad. The story about a tiny little vampire and his best friend, Mrs. Lizzie, is the first of four episodes to be released on the App Store and comes ready with a lot of fun animations to be discovered and more extras. The subsequent three volumes are to be published by the end of the year.


A huge success in the German-speaking world, this digital transport has the power to recruit readers from other parts of the world. The first volume is available in German and English, and comes ready with English to German vocabulary support perfect for those young ones who are trying to improve their second language skills. The funny bar on top of the text keeps track of how much text has already been read, and thanks to the option of up to ten individual bookmarks one can never get lost within the app. Last but not least the awesome puzzle and coloring area will convince even the toughest critic: Once the jigsaw puzzle is solved, the users are led to the ingenious paint book with brushes and colors to select and paint their own interpretation of Little Vampie, save and share it with family and friends.


Available on the App Store from October 12th and for just USD 4,99 as a Halloween special until October 31st. From November 1st the app is USD 5,99.

Publishers of iStoryTime Receives $2m Series A Investment
